Do you want Jill or Cheri to stop in your area? Are there events coming up in your region that we should know about? We don't always know unless you tell us! First, check out our requirements for hosting Jill or Cheri.
After you've read the requirements and put together a plan for a campaign visit (including media events, speaking engagements, constituency groups to reach out to, etc.), fill out this form to tell us about it.
A: Philip Fornaci
DC Statehood Green Party
A: Dr. Stein would speak for an hour.
A: University of Miami and Univision TV
A: Sept. 19 & 20th
A: Miami, FL
A: On September 19th and 20th, Romney and Obama will be speaking at Miami University. Their speeches will be tape delay broadcast on Univision.
I’ve contacted Univision to ask them to invite Dr. Stein. I suspect that her stances are popular with the Univision audience and UM students.
I hope you will consider contacting Univision and the university to persue inclusion in these appearances.
Here’s an article that was published yesterday in the school’s newspaper.
A: If not obvious from the proposal, we are specifically requesting that Cheri make this visit. Also, as a candidate for the State Assembly I would also be using these events to promote my campaign.
A: Afternoon – University of Rochester – Public forum, have commitment from student to reserve room for use
6:00pm – Housing is a Human Rights March
Greens will be co-sponsoring this march to demand an end to City support for foreclosures/evictions.
Additional events & media interviews can be arranged w/ confirmation of candidate visit.

A: All of the campaign requirements are NOT a problem. Here again,if Dr.Stein does put us on the calendar,we would appreciate available dates as soon as possible so we can start putting it all together. We want Houston to know Dr.Stein is coming to H-TOWN!!
A: We would like Dr.Stein to be able to spend a couple of days with us.We have her scheduled to speak at the local community college in northeast Houston(Kingwood) in the evening. The second evening at a church in mid-town.This area includes Rice University and the Gay-Lesbian community.During the day we would schedule a radio interview/call-in show on our local Pacifica station. The next day would be a meeting with the university of Houston activists, and possibly the SDS group at Kingwood. We are also working on a possible early morningTV interview on one of our local stations. And possibly,a Dr.Stein profile in our weekly newspaper. Also Tia,The possibility of a GOOD fund raiser as well!! It would be a private affair held in the home of one of our local activist. This would depend on the dates Dr.Stein would be here. The sooner we could get dates the better it would work for us.We understand that this all has to be approved by the campaign, but we are fired up and ready to show Houston who Dr. Stein is and what she can do for Texas and America.
A: The Harris County Greens would be the main group but we have a very diversified membership and would be bringing together the Latino,Health care,Union,The Gay-Lesbians and other activist groups.
A: Tia,The Harris County Green Party is very flexible and whatever dates Dr.Stein would find convenient would work for us.We would need about to get the word out.

A: Eastern Kentucky is among the poorest places in the country. Outside of Berea, the green party is not likely to find many sympathetic voters. However, KY did just successfully get Jill on the ballot and there is a green presence in the state. Here in Appalachian coal country, perhaps more than anywhere, we want to send the message that we too deserve a clean economy.
A: The day will begin with a talk with Jill or Cheri in an auditorium with a question and answer session following, all of which would probably last an hour. We could then tour some of the college’s grounds including the ecovillage and organic farm and greenhouses. Berea is the gateway to the Cumberland Plateau, and the only progressive community in Eastern Kentucky, a national sacrifice zone for coal mining. I think it would be a good idea if Jill or Cheri were in Kentucky to tour a mountaintop removal site with toxic coal slurries to see the destruction and reinforce why we need a green new deal. The nearest publicly viewable MTR sites are about 90 minutes east of Berea in Perry County. We would then return to Berea for the night.
