Before the election I hand delivered flyers – had Jill and Cherie on one side, my Congress candidate on another – about 280, in my neighborhood – It occurred to me that with another 3 folks we could have divvied it up and had at least 1000 handed out – but i didn’t know where the Greens were in my neighborhood! if folks in each zip code knew where the other folks in that zip code were and how to contact them, we could do this on a regular basis. Right now the e-mail messages are going to the “choir” but if we did some “regular stuff” in between elections, folks couldn’t say “Green who?” they would have some idea at least that Greens existed and what ideas they had to offer … they could agree or not but they would at least, hopefully, have glanced at a flyer or two and the name would be “familiar” …

The first American Revolution was spread by word of mouth and flyers distributed by hand – it can be done again … and with no bucks, maybe that is the ONLY way it can be done :)

So re latest missive from HQ – I suggest that in the spirit of Tom Paine’s Common Sense we a) look into getting licenses for low power radio stations – and green the airwaves b) organize in smaller groups centered around zip codes (for convenience) and actually hand deliver Green newsletters on a regular basis, with printing costs dispersed as well – say what you want to say, when you want to say it and don’t give a hoot whether the “media” covers it or not – in other words, GP needs to be/have its own “media”

PS is anybody reading this stuff any more?

How come we can’t comment below an article like the one Dr. Stein just wrote about MN at the bargaining table – this seems to be the only place on the site for comments and i don’t see anybody else here lately …

If you still want to help the Green Party out you should probably go to either the national Green Party website, www.gp.org, or your local Green Party website and let them know.

OK, my question is – what now? Is there a place one can go to see what these folks are doing now? What are Dr. Stein’s plans? Will she be running again? Shucks, I’m up for getting the show on the road, never to soon … :)

Sometimes, the shadows are best left in the shadows. The mysteries of the black holes are daunting, but do we really need to know about their intricacies? If Pandora’s Box can be prevented from being opened, why fantasize about what’s in it? Why allow the shadow purveyors to materialize their wills in the world of the living?

The nuclear power industry is a more immediate threat. We have to quell the shadow industries one step at a time. I hope you will be a good steward, regardless of your political affiliation.

Have to say i disagree – considering the “national debt” was incurred by engaging in illegal war, bank bailouts and tax breaks for those who least need them, I can think of better uses for a “war chest” than legitimizing the concept of an illicit debt. In fact that “debt” is a phony concept to begin with – it can be “paid” at any time by a gov’t that has the authority to issue its own currency.

i personally would much rather have any donations I have made to the campaign go to helping dethrone the duopoly that created this “debt” in the first place – let THEIR corp donors, the ones who helped create it, pay it off …

He actually has a valid point. Obviously staff need to paid, but this close to the election, I’m not sure what would be better. That new ad on TV or the news air time you would get from that kind of donation. With the ad on the internet, personally i would say go with the donation. Just an opinion though.

I will try this again. What if you were to donate your entire War Chest, though it pales with respect to the 2 “Major Parties”, to the National Debt! If the networks put this out, would this not shame the 2 Parties for not thinking of this and would it not bring you a lot of publicity and consequently money? Just a thought I had the other day that I would give my vote to a person that would do this instead of wasting billions on dirt and sludge raking. What have you to loose as the majority of the public knows nothing of who you are and for what you stand.

My reaction is disappointment and disgust. She doesn’t want to address the consolidation of power by the Rockefeller’s UN and in fact, wants more involvement with them. The Rockefeller’s cartel include: energy, banking and allopathic medicine. The shadow government behind the US Federal Government. The Rockefeller Brothers Fund Consults with GE (Energy and Media), Monsanto, Walmart and any others. Their Slogan “Philanthropy for an interdependent world.” Yeah, an interdependent world THEY created thru their various fronts. When I tried to ask her about this, she said to me: “You’re talking about what’s in the blackbox; I don’t want to know what’s in the black box.” Funny, considering the Rockefeller’s are pushing this carbon taxing agenda which will undoubtedly wil be handled by one of their primary or central banks. NOT to mention their hand in geo-engineering all the climate problems thru HAARPand chemical trailing…is it any coincidence that MonSATAN is trying to patent an aluminum resistant gene when one of the main chemicals being sprayed into the atmosphere via ‘chemtrailing’ is aluminum a conductor metal that makes soil neutral pH when plants grow in soil that is more acidic? DUH!
I chaired my county Green Party. I have done graphics, volunteered, petitioned, coordinated petitioning efforts in mine and surrounding congressional districts as well as helped hold a state meeting-first time ever I was told for one getting out on time I was told in 2006-and held press conferences for candidates.
After 10 years, I am leaving the Green Party because of this.

When was the last time more than 50% of eligible voters actually did vote? Since then, no administration has had the consent of the governed! Be ready to Occupy!

I am organizing at my college campus, and would love to see some color on some of these flyers to attract some more people! Just a thought!
