Fighting Bob La Follette put it well: “Democracy is a life and involves continual struggle.”
We have as much at stake tonight as we did on Tuesday night. We must and will continue to bring democracy to life by struggling for a new green economy with health care, education, housing, and healthy food for all. Our campaign for a Green New Deal put these issues, and especially the climate crisis, on the front pages, and we’re not letting up.
Our social movement is growing but there’s no time for rest. Democracy doesn’t just happen on election day-- it’s just one component of taking back our country from establishment politics.
Can you pitch in today to help us organize in our local communities?
We must redouble our efforts to build a truly democratic society. We must continue to grow the Green Party as the party of conscience, of working and poor people, of strong spines and conviction. Together we have achieved a lot, but we can do so much more.
Will you join me today?
I’m honored to have been the Green Party’s presidential candidate and deeply moved by the support we've received from people like you all across the country. Thank you for your support.
